The Psychological I Shape

'I' seems a psychological form that is able to imagine. This seems to happen in what is seen as 'the mind', as if 'mind' is a spacious object that can be imagined and in which imagination takes place.

Inside this 'mind' a dialogue occurs, with 'images of people' who said something yesterday, or 20 years ago, which was taken as negative or positive. These are mostly representations of family members from childhood and also from people that are close now.

Mental impressions evolve into representatives of persons (imaginary solidifications). Ego identifies with the imagined leading role and tries to be 'ahead' of the other players.

With each step, the psychological forms seem to try and influence the behavior of 'me'. Usually this isn't recognized as also projection. The result is anger towards family members or aquaintances, whenever a step doesn't seem to succeed. Internal discord, about the 'me' that isn't good enough, externalises as blame towards 'the guilty ones'.

This psychological childhood-construction is the blueprint from where reaction happens against the current surrounding. Expectations and convictions project themselves on people and objects that look like family members or old impressions. Fight/flight is attention defending itself. This is tangible as resistance and indignation: 'the other' seems to hinder 'me'. Staying open and 'sitting with it' brings relief.

If attention rests as Awareness, it is clear that spiritual shapes are kept 'alive' through belief in the I-shape. This central 'me' can be seen through as a collection of memories, convictions and habits.

If this is recognized as empty of itself, it dies. With that the network of related connections also falls apart.

Deep looking from Stillness - or silent seeing without subject-object - reminds the psyche of open Light. Light is the one Buddha-Mind.

The me-construction disintegrates in the sea of Life. Love, as primary 'substance', brings relaxation… Consciousness is Life-Love-Light.
