Identification

Objects in consciousness, with which identification happens, vary from the physical body to conceptual imaginations. Apparent forms in the mind seem to represent or be 'me'. This 'me' is the alleged doer.

Those imaginations often are snapshots of how a 'me' apparently behaved in certain situations, about which pride or shame is created.

They are also ideas that are handed down in many circles. The ideas turn out to be appearances of consciousness. I is not an idea, I points to Being, Awareness.
