With ingenuity you fool the onlooker. Nothing stays hidden in open awareness.

Awareness knows the meaning of gestures, attitudes, intonation, words and silence. Nothing stays hidden. Knowing isn't referring to old experiences, where past determines vision. It is the ability to observe, look deeply, and read hidden motivations behind outer appearances.

Awareness is before distinction. Silence has nothing to hide, ego obscures. The unbelievable intelligent energy of the Source can be used to silently observe, or to cleverly confound the naive onlooker. Weasel can steel the food from your table and make you believe you just finished it.

The habit of holding back powers of observation is fear of rejection. During (karmic) childhood, environmental 'knowledge' intimidated your sense of being. Allowing the Silence of truth, gave you the feeling of betraying the hands that nourished and protected you.

Confusion or intrigue can be met in Silence. Awareness reveals what is hidden in obscurity or contortion. Fear can be softened with the gentleness of a tender touch.
